Welcome to Houghton Springs Trout Farm
Houghton Springs is a rainbow trout farm in Winterborne Houghton, Dorset, fed by spring water from a chalk aquifer. It was built as a fish farm in 1974 on a former watercress site and breeds its own 'Winterborne' trout strain. The farm sells direct to consumers and supplies restaurants, including sushi restaurants, and smokes some of its larger trout.
