Daymens Hill Farm

Daymens Hill Farm is a family-run traditional English orchard of about 24 acres near Tolleshunt Major, Essex, with around 4,000 apple and pear trees and over 30 varieties. It was acquired in the early 1970s by Joan and Norman McCready and is now run by their daughter Mary, her husband Ralph and their daughter Rachel. Visitors can pick their own apples and pears in the autumn, and buy fruit, single-variety juices and seasonal vegetables from a pop-up farm shop at weekends until March.
