Welcome to Roots at Thorpe Farm

Roots is a farm shop on the working Mount family farm at Barkby Thorpe, near Leicester. The family has farmed there for over 150 years, and the shop opened in October 2008 with a coffee shop added in 2013. It sells fruit and veg, meat from Clarke's of Queniborough, eggs, bread, ready meals and gifts, and has a cafe in the former milking parlour and a feed shed for animal feed.
