Welcome to Basecamp North Lakes

Basecamp North Lakes is a farm shop, butchery, deli, bakery and cafe (the Mess Hall) on 155 acres with its own lake, beside the A66 between Penrith and Keswick. Whole-animal butchery and baking are done in-house, and it hosts the Alpacaly Ever After social enterprise with over 200 alpacas and llamas. It also has lakeside cabins to stay in.
