Welcome to McCready J & Son
Jacobs Farm Shop in Heybridge, near Maldon, is run by J. McCready & Son, a family farming business based in Heybridge and Tolleshunt Major that also grows malting barley, sugar beet and potatoes. The shop sells seasonal vegetables, homegrown potatoes and, in summer, glasshouse tomatoes, aubergines and cucumbers. It is known for local apples including D'Arcy Spice, as well as pears and quinces. The family's Daymens Hill Farm orchard runs pick-your-own apples and pears in autumn.
