Welcome to Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre

Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre is a working Lake District farm between Windermere and Staveley on the A591 at Ings. It has a farm shop, a butchers counter selling its own beef and Herdwick lamb, and a licensed farm kitchen. Visitors can also watch livestock shows in the farm arena and try activities such as drystone walling. The farm is run by a third-generation Lakeland farming family who breed Herdwick sheep and beef cattle.
