Welcome to Teesdale Cheesemakers
Teesdale Cheesemakers is a family-run dairy on Pond Farm, Butterknowle. It makes soft and blue cheeses by hand from the family farm's milk. The farm has Café Cheesedale with a small shop selling its cheeses and locally sourced products, rare breed pigs reared on the whey, and glamping lodges. It was founded as Leaside Cheesemakers in 2012 and has been run by Allison and Jonathan Raper since 2016.
