About us
Welcome to Metcalfe Farms
Metcalfe Farms is a family business, started in 1940 at Washfold Farm, Leyburn, and now in its third and fourth generations. It farms about 3000 acres with a 1300-cow dairy herd whose milk is sent off site, and also runs heavy haulage, agricultural contracting, a limestone quarry and storage. The site shows no farm shop or direct sales to the public.
