Lynher Dairy

Lynher Dairy makes artisan cheeses by hand at Ponsanooth near Truro, including nettle-wrapped Cornish Yarg, Wild Garlic Yarg, Cornish Kern and Stithians. It uses milk from its own Ayrshire herd plus other Cornish farms. The dairy shop sells its own cheeses with other British cheeses, wine, fresh milk, eggs, bread and local preserves, and the dairy also sells cheese by post. It is run by Catherine and Otto Mead, and the dairy moved to Ponsanooth in the early 2000s.
