About us
Welcome to The Grassy Shire (Black Horse Farm Partners)
A small family livestock farm in South Leicestershire. It rears pasture-fed Beef Shorthorn cattle and Lleyn sheep, and dry-ages and butchers the meat in its own on-farm butchery. It sells beef, lamb and pork boxes and individual cuts for collection by appointment, local delivery or courier. The family has farmed at Black Horse Farm for over 60 years and has practised butchery since the 1930s.
