About us
Welcome to Ryedale Rare & Native Breeds
Ryedale Rare & Native Breeds is run by Debbie and Dave Wardell from Rosewood Cottage on Yatts Road, between Pickering and Newton-on-Rawcliffe on the North York Moors. They rear their own pedigree Berkshire pigs, Belted Galloway cattle and Whitefaced Woodland sheep, selling slow-grown pork, bacon, beef, lamb, hogget and mutton direct from the farm and a small shop. Their stock has won rosettes at the Great Yorkshire Show and Ryedale Show, and they also attend markets and events.
