The Heron Farm Shop & Kitchen

The Heron is a farm shop and licensed kitchen cafe on the Smith family's 122-acre farm near Strathaven, which opened in a purpose-built green oak-framed building after a 2018 planning application. The shop stocks fresh, chilled and frozen produce from local and Scottish farmers and producers, plus gifts and drinks, and the cafe serves breakfast, lunch and daily home baking. The farm also runs a Scottish Blackface sheep flock and a Christmas tree plantation, and the Heron Byre event venue.
