Welcome to The Cake Fridge - Shetland

The Original Cake Fridge is a roadside honesty fridge at East Burrafirth, Bixter, on the Voe to Aith road. It was started in 2012 by Lynn Johnson. Several fridges are stocked daily with handmade cakes, bakes, savoury items and desserts, alongside local seasonal produce, preserves and crafts, paid for in cash. A tearoom next door, opened in 2019, serves takeaway soup and hot drinks.
