About us

Welcome to Border Berries

Family-run farm at Rutherford, near Maxton between Kelso and St Boswells, growing strawberries and raspberries outdoors (no polytunnels) for pick-your-own, with a farm cafe. The family has farmed here for nearly 80 years and grew berries from the 1960s; the rest of the year it is an arable farm with hill cattle and sheep. The cafe sells cordial and ice lollies made from the farm's own berries.
