McLauchlans of Boxted

Three generations of the McLauchlan family have grown fruit at Boxted on the Essex-Suffolk border since 1939, and it has been a pick-your-own farm since the 1960s. It grows strawberries and other summer berries in open ground using traditional methods. The farm shop sells homemade jam, frozen fruit, free-range eggs and local produce, and there is a food truck, The Wandering Blossom, on site.
