Welcome to Crapes Fruit Farm

Crapes Fruit Farm is a family-run fifteen-acre orchard near Colchester in Essex, growing many varieties of apples, including traditional and lesser-known ones. Fruit is sold from the farm shop and by post, and the site says no chemical treatments have been used since 2011. Cherries, plums, quince and medlars are also sold in season. The owner, Andrew Tann, announced in 2025 that he is retiring and that much of the orchard is passing to two local families.
