Greenslate Community Farm

Greenslate Community Farm is a community-run farm of about 25 acres of farmland and woodland on Billinge Hill, on the edge of Wigan. It was set up in 2012 by Billinge and Orrell Transition Group and is run as a community benefit society. The farm shop sells a pre-loved and new items section, plus seasonal fruit, vegetables and salads from the market garden and free-range eggs. The site also has a Straw Bale Café and a care farm.
